Certificate FAQs
How do certificates get issued?
Attendance certificates for live sessions are generated by an automated process that recognizes the length of time attendees remain in the session. They are issued under the name used to register for the event and emailed to the email address entered on the registration form. Certificates are not provided for partially attended events.
MHLS Training on Demand
This service is available exclusively to directors, staff and trustees of MHLS member libraries. Certificates are available to print after course completion. Please note, certificates are not issued for all content posted in the Library Sustainability and Technology.
We viewed as a group, can everyone get a certificate?
Certificates can only be issued when MHLS can verify an individual’s participation. We can only provide a certificate for the person who logged in to a live session or to our training on demand platform.
I can’t find/never got my certificate?
We do not maintain an archive of certificates issued and cannot accommodate requests for certificates that were issued more than 60 days ago. Attendees are responsible for maintaining their own records regarding completed continuing education.
MHLS can not guarantee certificates stored on third-party platforms will always be accessible. We recommend you download and save copies any earned certificates.
Who can I contact with questions about certificates or MHLS’ continuing education?
Please contact Laura Crisci, MHLS Library Sustainability Coordinator.
